Recent Trend of Research about Climate Change and Energy Education in Korea

The purpose of this study is to analyze research about energy and climate change education in Korea. We have selected and examined 67 theses concerned energy and climate change education in academic journals of educational science councils. First, In Korea researches for energy and climate change education, the fields, subjects and purposes of research are analyzed as being evenly distributed. Second, Korean researches about climate change and energy education have increased since 2010. Third, Korean researches about climate change and energy education have encountered changes in viewpoint and diversity of themes, etc. Fourth, Korean researches about climate change and energy education are not evenly distributed in the forms of research, the levels of subjects and domestic and foreign materials. Based on these results, we suggested the direction of improvement for research about climate change and energy education.
